the sunday lunch was not good. the table felt too small for my family. the soup we wanted was unavailable and also the children's sausages! the vegetarian roast was missing the beetroot wellington, so it felt incomplete. the stuffing balls were rock hard too.

the check-in was quick since i completed the pre-check-in information online before arrival. the hotel displayed beautiful seasonal decorations, a delight to see. my twin bed room included a bath and shower within a bathroom that was really clean (a great relief). the bed was comfortable.
the room décor seemed a bit tired and could use a refresh.

the staff were helpful and friendly when i interacted with them. they accommodated food intolerances within our group during the evening meal and at breakfast. the staff seemed polite, doing their best to manage all the requests.
